Our Story
MGM Generators was founded in Malaysia to address a growing need for reliable power generation solutions. Starting as a specialized diesel generator supplier, we established partnerships with Cummins and Perkins — the world’s most trusted generator brands. These partnerships allowed us to offer genuine factory-warranted equipment backed by authorized service networks.
As Malaysian industries expanded, so did our capabilities. We added Doosan for heavy industrial applications, Isuzu for residential and quiet-operation requirements, and Fiat for value-focused customers. This five-brand portfolio gives us flexibility to specify the right generator for every application — not just the most expensive one.
From our Kuala Lumpur base, we grew to serve all of Malaysia. Selangor became our stronghold with rapid service coverage across Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, and Subang. We established teams in Johor Bahru, Penang, Sabah (Kota Kinabalu), and Sarawak (Kuching, Miri, Bintulu). Today, we deliver and install generators nationwide — from urban KL to East Malaysia’s remote industrial sites.
Key milestones mark our journey: 1,000+ generators deployed across Malaysia, a nationwide service network with certified technicians, launch of our online store for easy browsing and quotation, and recognition as a Google Ads partner for transparent digital advertising. What We Do
Generator Sales: New diesel generators from 15kVA to 1000kVA. Cummins, Perkins, Doosan, Isuzu, and Fiat. Silent canopy, open type, containerised, and trailer-mounted configurations. Full installation and commissioning included.
Generator Rental: Short-term and long-term generator rentals for events, construction, emergencies, and planned maintenance. Quick deployment across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia. Flexible terms with optional maintenance coverage.
Spare Parts: Genuine OEM parts for all major generator brands. Engine filters, alternator components, control panels, circuit breakers, batteries, exhaust systems. We stock fast-moving parts for same-day dispatch.
Maintenance Contracts: Scheduled servicing to prevent breakdowns. Oil changes, filter replacements, cooling system checks, fuel system cleaning, load testing. Emergency callout available for contract customers. Annual service ensures warranty validity.
ATS Installation: Automatic Transfer Switch systems for seamless backup power. Deep Sea, ComAp, and Datakom controllers. Integrated with your generator for automatic switchover within 10 seconds of power failure.
Site Survey & Load Assessment: Free for commercial customers. We visit your site, assess power requirements, recommend generator size and placement, and provide detailed quotation with technical specifications.
Commissioning & Testing: Certified technicians test your generator after installation. Voltage regulation, frequency stability, load bank testing, fuel system checks, ATS transfer testing. Full documentation and handover training.
